Connect boxes

CSV import and export

CSV contains boxes and connections in nine columns: record, id, label, type, category, from, to, outcome and mode. Task rows describe boxes; link rows use box IDs in from and to. Outcome labels a decision path. Mode is process or dependency.

Layout, colours, notes and other detailed fields are kept in the JSON project backup. Use File → Save project for a complete copy. Older CSV exports can still be imported. A simple list with id and label columns can also be imported.

Categories and colours

Set a colour for each workstream or category used in this project. Assign a category in a box’s details. Individual box colours take precedence.

Appearance

Choose the default style for boxes in this project. Individual tasks can override their colours.

Example processes

Choose an illustrative process to explore. Loading an example replaces the current project; download a backup first if you want to keep it.
